Bucharest Fashion Week – Day One

English version

We don`t know how we do it but we`re always running late for something, either is for out photo shoots or at events we`re invited too. Bucharest Fashion Week was no exception for us, even though we were very eager to get there in time. But, for obvious reasons (not knowing what to wear) we couldn`t get there at 8 pm, when the first collections were presented on stage. We did however get there in time to see most of the creations and decide which ones were our favourites. We totally fell in love with some fringed dresses from Bogas, some blak and bronze Godis outfits, with the colours that took the stage in Nausica dresses and we were absolutely fascinated with the concept created by Iulia Ghenea  and Emilia Tudoran – a modern and unique reinterpretation of the Romanian traditional clothing.

For our first BFW day we chose contrasting outfits, again, but very feminine. The looks were completed by a pair of gold Steve Madden sandals and a Moschino clutch for Madalina and Corina chose to wear a pair of pink leather Zee Lane shoes and a Doca clutch. Most of the accessories were found on Fashion Days, one of our favorite online stores – we`re practically addicted to it. Imagine the joy when we got to meet the wonderful girls that are behind Fashion Days. They also displayed their wonderful products at BFW, but you`ll find out more about that soon.

Maybe we would have liked a more crowded first day at BFW but the next two days of the event were at the top in that respect. All in all, the first day was an interesting experience and it gave us a glimpse of how events like this organized in London, Paris or Milan must feel.

So, here are some selections from BFW`s first day. We hope you like them! 🙂
